- Thiamethoxam is a broad spectrum systemic insecticide It has both contact and stomach action.
- It is granular soluble insecticide of Neonicotinoid group.
- It is highly effective at low use rates against a broad spectrum of sucking, soil and leaf dwelling pests.
- Application: Being a systemic insecticide should be applied at recommended dose at initial stage of infestation.
- It is advisable to alternate with other group of insecticides to avoid resistance problem in long run.
- For Rice:- Stem borer, Gall Midge, Leaf folder, Brown Plant Hopper, White backed Plant Hopper, Green Leaf Hopper, Thrips.
- For Cotton :- Jassids, Aphids, Whiteflies.
- Dose:- 500-700 gm per hactor.
